Upcoming SIB Event
Sisters, Greetings and thank you for your continued support with the Sisters in the Brotherhood. Layla Bibi and I have accepted the position to Co-Chair the Committee moving forward, following Susan Schultz's retirement. We held our first meeting of the year in late January, virtually. We are now planning another virtual event on April 8th at 6pm for our second quarterly meeting of 2021. With that being said, we could use your help in reaching out to Sisters in your local to spread the word. We will have a special guest speaker that we intend to support in the Virginia Governor's race, Jennifer Caroll Foy. We believe Jennifer is just the kind of candidate the Sisters can get behind and support. We intend to host her at our meeting that evening and sponsor a phone banking effort immediately following, council wide. There will be a text sign up that will go out soon, so be on the lookout. We encourage all to sign up early so that we can get a good head count. I have attached a link below so that you can read up on this trailblazing candidate. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions. https://jennifercarrollfoy.com/ Thank you, Cyndie Williams Council Representative Eastern Atlantic States Regional Council of Carpenters 91 Fieldcrest Ave., Suite A22 Edison, NJ 08837 732-395-8866 |
